Due to the weather impacts and missed days, we will extend the Penny Wars through Friday, December 12th. Check Dojo daily for leaderboard updates.

A lot of people have been asking about scoring. Pennies and dollars add points. Silver coins subtract points. We have included some examples below to help out.

1 penny= 1 point
$1=100 points
$5= 500 points

1 nickel= -5 points
1 quarter= -25 points

Arrival: Students can arrive from 7:55-8:20. Students are counted tardy after 8:25am. An adult is required to walk the student in and sign him/her in at the office.

Dismissal: Students are released at 3:00pm. Due to dismissal procedures, we ask that students do not check out after 2:40pm without prior approval from an administrator.

Transportation Changes: Transportation changes need to be made prior to 2pm. If it is a same day change, it must be communicated to the main office. Teachers may not be able to check dojo throughout the day.

Attendance “Myth Busters”

Myth: A day or two doesn’t matter

Fact: Just 2 days a month = a whole school year lost by high school

Myth: Elementary absences don’t impact later success

Fact: Early attendance sets the tone for graduation

We are excited to have new cones this year. The picture above shows our morning car line and afternoon car line (post fastpass). Please follow the traffic pattern established by the cones to ensure student safety. A cone means- do not drive in this area.

Car riders will dismiss at 3pm daily. For the safety of our staff and students, please follow the directions of any staff members helping with car line.

Important Reminders:

-Please remain in your vehicles (with the exception of students who need mobility assistance).

-Please follow the directions of staff members. To keep traffic out of Chub Lake Rd, they will be directing you to move up to specific cones before allowing your child to get in.

-Staff will open the car door for students to enter the vehicle, but they will not be responsible for buckling the student in.

We ask for your patience as the beginning of school year car line runs a little slowly at first. It will move faster once everyone is more familiar with the processes.

Tired of waiting in the afternoon pick-up line? The PTSO sells Fast Pass Raffle Tickets each school quarter. Enter to win one of 5 Fast Passes for the 2nd Quarter of School. Arrive by 2:55pm and head

to the front of the Fast Pass line each day for the third 9 weeks. Raffle tickets are $5 for one or $20 for five. You can submit completed tickets/money to school with student, submit form via PTSO email and pay via Paypal, or purchase in the afternoon car line week of January 5th. The drawing will take place on Friday, January 9th after afternoon pick-up! Winners can use this way of picking up starting Monday, January 12th for the remainder of the 3rd Quarter.

Order forms will be sent home in weekly folders and money can be returned to the main office.
