Shop With a Cop Community Program
We’re excited to announce SkyView’s first-ever Shop with a Cop Fundraiser, running November 10th –19th for elementary students! This special community event raises money to help local kids shop with police officers for holiday gifts, spreading kindness, connection, and community spirit. Each participating school raises funds, and the school that collects the most wins. You know what that means... if we win, Deputy Walker wins! Every dollar counts, and together we can make a huge difference for local families this holiday season.
Winners in Grades 3–5: The top class faces Deputy Walker in a Tug-of-War, and the winning grade level also earns a movie afternoon + extra recess.
Let’s go 3rd grade! Let’s make this fundraiser amazing!

PreK/Elementary: Nov 13 & Nov 20 — $1 for 2 donut holes during lunch (gluten-free options available!)
No-Tech November
During the month of November, we are having a No-Tech November challenge. We are encouraging SVA students to find other activities to do in their free time besides getting on an electronic device (phone, tablet, computer, gaming device, TV, etc.). Click the link below for the challenge calendar. Each day on the calendar suggests an activity that doesn't involve devices. Students do not need to do that exact activity. They can participate in any activity of their choosing, technology free. Parents, your job is to initial the days your student is technology free at home. Students may turn in their calendar on December 2nd to earn a Dress of Choice pass and a free book from Mrs. Lilly if they were technology free for at least 25 days in November. I will also be offering classroom rewards for students who participate, even if they don’t meet the 25 day goal 😊 Let’s make this November a month filled with creativity and connection!
If your student is participating, please print off the calendar at home. We will not be distributing them at school. No-Tech November Calendar
