REMINDER: ID Required For Events During School Hours
We have many events happening at Legacy! To help ensure a smooth and secure check-in process for your upcoming visit, we ask that you please pre-register using the Verkada link for your event (you should have received this link already) prior to arriving at the event. This step is required for security purposes and allows us to prepare for your visit in advance. The registration process includes taking a photo as well as uploading a picture of your driver’s license, which is typically easier to complete on a cell phone, as well as signing an NDA and Surveillance Consent form.
Don't have a link? You are welcome to register upon arrival at the school, please note that depending on the number of visitors and volunteers at that time, it may take longer to complete. Consider this like a "TSA Pre-Check In."
Your information is only stored for the duration of your time on campus and is not kept afterward. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and efficient environment for everyone. If you do not pre-register, you MUST HAVE YOUR ID when you come to Legacy.
Leadership Letter
Dear Legacy Academy Community,
As we wrap up this school year, I tend to reflect on the year as a whole. So much has been accomplished, and one of the ideas that has been emphasized in May is “Finishing Strong.” The students and staff seem to be doing that well this year. I’m looking forward to the last few days as we complete the year.
As we have had more time with our new Ethos: Character, Community, & Excellence, I like them even more than when adopted. It seems these simple words are easy to remember and define much of our work. Even our younger students can apply them to everyday actions and decisions. In addition, candidates that want to join our team of educators often mention these three Ideas when responding to questions about why they want to work at Legacy Academy.
To each of you, I hope your summer is filled with outdoor activities, family time, and whatever else “fills your bucket”. I look forward to next year, and continuing our shared journey toward Character, Community, and Excellence.

Middle School Field Day
Dear Parent/Guardians,
Our middle school team has been working hard to put together a fun, activities-filled half-day to close out the school year on May 20th. We wanted to inform you that it will be a Free Dress of Choice Day, and that once the activities are concluded we will have a brief celebration with treats and awards. Carpool dismissal will start at 12pm. We suggest the students wear comfortable, athletic clothing to match the weather, as most of our activities will occur outside. In the event of unfavorable weather, we have an indoor backup set of activities. Please have your students bring a water bottle and a snack. As a reminder, lunch and bus service will not be provided.
Thank you all for being invested in your child(ren)'s education. We hope field day is a fun way to kick off a well-deserved summer break.
Sincerely,
The Middle School Team

Lost and Found
We will donate the lost-and-found items on the evening of Thursday, May 21st. Please stop by or remind your child to retrieve any items they may have left behind. Remember to always label belongings so we can return them.
