๐ Adobe Express: Gratitude is My Superpower
Last week, I had the privilege of attending and support the LST Pullout on Tuesday. As part of their learning, they listened to the story "Gratitude is My Superpower" and completed the following activity using Adobe Express: Animate Your Voice. The activity resonated with me and I asked for permission to share it with you.
Listen to the story: โGratitude is my Superpower."
What are you grateful for?
1. Use an index card to write your response.
2. Chose one of the sentence stems below to help you formulate your thoughts.- I am grateful for my ____ because ____.
- One thing I am grateful for is ____ because it helps me ____.
I feel most grateful for ____ because it has taught me ____ and helped me ____.
4. Download your completed video and upload to Padlet.
Upon completion of their responses, everyone was asked to chose one word that represented what they were grateful for and to write it on a stone.
We learn best by doing! Create your own response and add it to the Padlet. One lucky participant will win a Starbucks gift card. โ
๐ Generating a QR Code: Seesaw Edition
Option 1: QR Code with Embedded First Page
Click the three dots at the bottom right of a post, then select โGet QR Item Codeโ to generate a QR code with the postโs image in the center. You can print or save this code to insert into tools like Google Docs or Slides. Itโs a great way to get a QR code while still identifying the post.
Option 2: QR Code with First Page Image Plus Comments
Click the three dots at the bottom of any post, then select โPrint.โ This creates an 8.5 x 11-inch printout of the post with a QR code at the bottom. This way, you get a larger image of the post along with a QR code that can be cut out and used anywhere in your display.
Option 3: Bulk Print from a Folder
Want to print a class set of QR codes? Start by creating folders in Seesaw where students can add their work. In class settings, turn on โShow Add To Folder Stepโ to prompt students to organize each post by subject or content area. Make it clear that each item should be added to at least one folder, and for easy access, add a period before the interactive display folder name to move it to the top of the list. Organizing work in a folder allows you to go directly to the folder and print all posts with a single click, rather than locating each one individually to generate QR codes.
