Quarterly news from PRMS Library
Volume 7, Issue 4
Welcome to the library's newsletter. I share news at the end of each nine weeks. As always, let me know if you have suggestions!
What's New
Library Reopened
The library reopened on May 4, just in time for end-of-the year research projects and a kickoff to summer reading! A special thank you to the high school library staff (Mr. Pollock and Ms. Tolvanen-Annal) and helpers from the PRHS Key Club for their help shelving several thousand books that were displaced during remediation.
Library Happenings
Escape Rooms
The library has been busy the past few weeks since reopening on May 4. We hosted several classes for escape rooms: Mrs. Pursley's reading classes for a City of Ember challenge, and 8th grade history classes for a Founding Era competition.
Afghanistan research
Mrs. Bubb's English 7 classes researched life in Afghanistan to write an essay comparing when The Breadwinner was written to the present day.
