Weiss is being nominated by his counselor, Ms. Orozco. "Weiss is a dedicated student whose determination truly stands out. He balances his academics with his involvement in things such as tennis and FCCLA, showing both discipline and heart in everything he does. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know Weiss and learning more about his experiences as we’ve worked through his college essays together. Athlete of the Week

Girls Golf Coach Mendoza nominated Sophomore Bella Yu. "Bella has been an outstanding contributor to the Rowland Raiders Varsity Girls Golf Team since joining as a freshman. With a strong foundation as a junior golfer, Bella has brought both skill and dedication to the team. During the off-season, she worked tirelessly with her coaches to refine her swing and gain more tournament experience. Her hard work has clearly paid off — Bella has improved her game by an impressive 10 strokes from last season. This year, she posted a low round of 35, helping lead the Raiders to an undefeated 6-0 record and securing the league championship for the second consecutive year. Bella’s exceptional play has also earned her a spot in the upcoming Individual CIF competition at River Ridge in Oxnard this Monday, as well as Team CIF on November 3. With her commitment, growth, and leadership, Bella continues to be a key player and an inspiration to her teammates."
