Principal's Message: Ms. Montes
Comet Families,
Thank you for attending our recent Parent-Teacher Conferences! We hope you enjoyed seeing the goals your child has set for themselves and that you continue to support and monitor their progress as the year continues. Your partnership makes a big difference.
As we move into the fall season, please continue to keep your child motivated by ensuring they are at school every day and on time. Strong attendance is key to academic success.
We have many exciting events coming up! During Red Ribbon Week, we’ll be encouraging students to say NO to drugs through engaging, school-wide activities. We also look forward to our annual Trunk-or-Treat—a fun and safe way for our students to celebrate the season.
Looking ahead:
-
Fall Intersession will take place October 8–10. If your child has been invited for additional academic support, please make sure they attend.
-
Fall Break will be observed October 13–17. We hope you take this opportunity to relax, recharge, and make special memories with your children.
-
We’ll see everyone back at school on Monday, October 20.
We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families who participated in our 9-week Parent Academy focused on Autism. It was a powerful learning experience, and we appreciate your commitment. Due to your requests, we’re excited to share that our ADHD Parent Academy will return this spring. We hope to see many of you join us again!
Thank you for being such an important part of our school community. Let’s keep working together to make this a great year!
