2021-2022 MLS Interim Principal, Ms. Katie Roach, Announcement
The School Board approved Ms. Katie Roach, current MLS Assistant Principal, to the position of MLS Interim Principal for the 2021-2022 school year. Katie has been a great asset to the MLS community and I am certain she will be able to lead MLS and support staff, students, and families this school year.
We have determined ways to accomplish the duties assigned to the Assistant Principal role using internal resources. The MLS Principal position will be posted in November with interviews in mid-winter. A nomination will be brought forward for School Board consideration at that time.
Thank you for your understanding as we continue to respond to unexpected events keeping the focus on providing a positive and nurturing experience for all of our MLS students.
Mask Requirement for Staff and Students
The Lebanon School Board put forward a mask requirement for all staff, students, and visitors. Many students are coming to the bus or to school without having a mask. We would greatly appreciate if you would ensure your child starts the day with a mask. We do have additional masks should your child's mask becomes dirty, unusable. Thank you.
Voluntary COVID Testing for Staff and Students
Thank you to our families and staff members who are participating in voluntary COVID testing. We have approximately 340 staff members and students who have signed up which is a great start.
Voluntary COVID testing will begin the week of Monday, September 27th. All LHS students participating in voluntary testing will begin on Friday, October 1st.
