The Trojan Triumph

We had a great first quarter of school, and we are starting the second quarter strong as well. Grade cards were posted to PowerSchool last Friday. If you need help logging into PowerSchool, please contact the office. Also, if you would like to schedule a parent teacher conference, please contact the office. We had thirty-five students earn a 4.0, eighty-five students were on the honor roll, and another seventy-three students earned a merit honor! That's 193 students who earned different academic honors last quarter. Great job! Our athletic teams have had great seasons.

Mrs. Parrott is an alum of Capital University and Western Governors University. Being a teacher has been her dream since she was a young child. She has taught 5 years in Knox county at Danville High School and St. Vincent de Paul School. She and her husband, Jordan, live in Sunbury with their pets: Pumbaa (pig), Ruby (tortoise), Stu (rabbitt), and Rocco (Bearded Dragon). Her two passions are math and music. She plays the tuba and the piano and is involved with a community band, a hand bell choir, and a church choir. She is very excited to have moved closer to home and to be part of the Centerburg community.
