📣 Families! It's September Already!

The start of the school year has been seamless, and it has been wonderful to see our students back, engaged, and ready to learn! On August 10, the Academy hosted Parent Night, which was a great success. Our “new” parents had the chance to meet teachers and coaches, while students picked up their schedules and connected with their teachers. It was truly a worthwhile and enjoyable event for everyone.

Excitement continues to build as we look forward to moving into our brand-new school building—updates will be shared soon. It won’t be long now! We are looking ahead to a fantastic school year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities.

We are excited to welcome three outstanding educators to the RPS family!

  • Mr. Joe Nathaniel joins us as our new Middle School teacher. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from the public school sector.

  • Mr. Rajesh Katuri joins us from Texas as our new Math teacher. His expertise and passion for mathematics will be a wonderful addition to our team.

  • Mrs. Holly O'Brien joins us from Martin County School District and will be teaching our Horticulture class on Fridays.

We are thrilled to have them on board and look forward to the positive impact they will make with our students.

NWEA Testing – September 10 & 11

On Wednesday and Thursday, September 10–11, students will take the NWEA MAP Growth assessments in Math and Reading. These tests are not about grades—they are a way for us to see what students already know and what they are ready to learn next. MAP Growth helps educators understand where students are on their learning journey, track their progress over time, and identify both strengths and areas for improvement.

To set students up for success, please remind them to get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and bring their laptop fully charged.
