Dear Audubon Families,
We hope you and your families are staying warm and enjoying our recent snow days! As we prepare to return to school, we wanted to share a few important updates and reminders.
Snow & Glow Family Dance — Date Change!!!!
Please note that our Snow & Glow Family Dance has been moved to Friday, February 27, 2026. This change allows classrooms additional time to collect items after being out of school for two weeks due to snow.
Basket donations are still being accepted, and we truly appreciate everyone who has already contributed. Please continue sending in items, as the new donation deadline is Friday, February 13. Additional information, including the RSVP, will be shared soon.
February is Kindness Month!
February is Kindness Month at Audubon Elementary, and we are excited to celebrate our students. Throughout the month, students will be recognized for demonstrating the following traits: Resilience, Respectful behavior, Communication, and Problem Solving.
We are also excited to honor our first-ever Kindness Student of the Year. A special Kindness Memo will be shared each week in February highlighting our student winners, beginning with Respectful for the week of February 2nd and Resilient for the week of February 9th.
Returning From Snow Days
When we return to school, please be sure your child brings their
- Chromebook
- Chromebook charger
- NTI folder
If your child was unable to log in during our DCPS@home days, please ensure the NTI packet for those days has been completed and returned.
