Start with Hello Week
Once again, Liberty Elementary will join other Worthington elementary schools by participating in the Start With Hello Sandy Hook Promise Program during the week of September 21 - 25. We want to prioritize being seen, heard, and valued! During this week, Liberty will help spotlight the importance of recognizing and knowing classmates and adults in our school community. Each day we will have a special theme:
Monday - Make Someone Smile - Sometimes simply smiling and saying hello to someone can turn their day around.
Tuesday - Talk to Someone New - Sit next to someone that you’ve never sat with at lunch today, or learn the name of someone new at school.
Wednesday - Fun Ways to Say Hello - We have many languages in Worthington! Say hello in a different language or find a fun way to say hello, maybe a special handshake.
Thursday - Trusted Adult Thursday - It’s important to know who you can talk to if you need help or you are feeling sad.
Friday - Feel Good Friday - Continue to spread kindness. You might give someone a compliment to help them feel good.

Create your design in COLOR using crayons, markers or colored pencils (press firmly).
Designs should be VERTICAL (horizontal submissions are not eligible).
Color to the edge of the paper, but keep text or any words 1” from the edge.
Be sure to include the school name and year in your design (Liberty Elementary 2026-27).
