PARENT OUTREACH/PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

Parent Teacher Conferences are next week on Wednesday, October 14 from 4pm-8pm and Thursday, October 15 from 8:30am-7pm. While this is a great opportunity for many to make connections, we also hope that communication is ongoing. ALMA, Google classroom, the weekly parent update, school website, messages from your child’s teacher(s) are other ways to feel connected to the school community. These tools are great for day-to-day updates, and conferences are a wonderful time to connect face-to-face to learn more about your child's experience. All families are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please note that the student scheduler (PickAtime) opened school-wide on Wednesday, October 7 at 4PM and will close on Tuesday, October 13 at 4PM.

In order to provide flexibility, conferences will be available in person or virtually. Conferences will not be scheduled outside of these dedicated days, so please plan accordingly.

DID YOU KNOW......................

Internet Access, Electronics, Chromebooks and Mobile Devices

All students and parents are required to review an “Internet Access, Electronics, and Mobile Device Agreement” at the beginning of the school year. Cell phone usage is for positive communication. During school, all electronic devices should be powered down and stored out of sight. This includes earbuds, smartwatches, phones, and tablets. Personal devices are not allowed in the classroom setting and should be stored in lockers or backpacks. A courtesy phone is available in the office before school, during breaks and lunch, during class with a note from a teacher and after school. In case of an emergency, phones are available throughout the school to use with teacher permission. Chromebooks should be used for educational purposes when directed by a teacher during the school day. Using the chromebook for gaming, off task behavior, and non educational purposes is not permitted.

Acceso a Internet, dispositivos electrónicos, Chromebooks y dispositivos móviles
