NOVA News

I am thrilled to share a major milestone in NOVA’s Phase II expansion. We have officially secured the construction loan from TowneBank and signed the construction contract with EDC, the same company that built the Henrico County Sports and Events Center. With everything in place, construction will officially kick off next Monday, March 17th!

This is a huge step forward for NOVA, and we will keep the membership informed as we receive construction schedule updates. Stay tuned for regular communication on the project’s progress.

There will be an official NOVA “Groundbreaking” party coming later this spring so we can celebrate as a team.

Thank you for your continued support as we ELEVATE to the next level!

This past weekend it was NOVA’s senior swimmers competed against the state racing day and night from Thursday - Sunday. Most of our swimmers were also coming off a prelim-finals High school state meet, however, the quick turnaround didn’t slow them down! Our swimmers got after it in prelims setting themselves up for some amazing finals performances.

Swimmers came into this meet with a variety of challenges, racing back-to-back weekends, coming off partial rest, or even tackling some crazy event line-ups. However we saw A LOT of swimmers dig deep and race hard all the way through Sunday. Swimmers achieved many new best times, new time standards, and more championship cuts than we could have imagined. This was highlighted by the great Sunday performances that once again separated NOVA from its competition.

NOVA should be proud of continuing its legacy as the #1 team in Virginia and stay ambitious as we move on to race top teams from across the nation next week.
