Cell Phone Expectations: Partnering with Families
๐ฑ At Sun Prairie West, we are continuing to reinforce our schoolwide cell phone expectations to help students stay focused on learning and engaged throughout the school day. Students are expected to keep their phones stored in classroom caddies during instructional time. They may use their phones before school, after school, during lunch, and during passing periods.
We encourage families to have conversations with their students about responsible phone use at school, including the use of secondary or โburnerโ phones to work around school expectations. We also recognize that communication with home and work can be important for students. Please remind your student that they have opportunities to check their phones during the designated times listed above. If an urgent situation arises during the school day, families can contact the school office for assistance.
Thank you for partnering with us to support a learning environment where students can focus, connect, and succeed!

AP Exam & Fee Information
Important Change to AP Exams & Fees
AP Students & Families: AP exam fees have been posted to your studentsโ Infinite Campus accounts. Each AP exam costs $99, and payment for AP exam fees will be due by November 1st, 2026. Please be aware that students whose AP exam fees have not been paid by the deadline will not have an AP exam ordered for them. Students who need to order a test after November 1st will need to pay an additional $40 late order fee. These fees are set by the College Board, not the district. For students who are on free or reduced lunch programming, AP exam fees are waived due to Wisconsin state law (Wis. Stat. sec. 120.12(22)).
Please reach out to Amy Cassiday, AP Coordinator, at akcassi@sunprairieschools.org or 608-478-1700 ext. 1888 with questions.
