Cleveland ISD Implements Distraction-Free Education Policy for 2025-2026

To support student focus, well-being, and academic achievement, Cleveland ISD is implementing a Distraction-Free Education Policy aligned with House Bill 1481. This new policy limits the use of personal electronic devices during the school day.

What You Need to Know:

All personal devices (including cell phones, earbuds, smartwatches, etc.) must be powered off and stored away for the entire instructional day.

Why It Matters:

The goal is to reduce distractions, enhance emotional wellness, and strengthen student engagement with peers, teachers, and learning.

How Families Can Support:

Talk with your child about staying focused and device-free at school.
Ensure devices are stored in backpacks
To reach your child during the school day, please call the school’s front office.

Cleveland ISD is proud to announce District-Wide Free School Meals for all students!

Thanks to the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), every CISD student will receive free breakfast and lunch every school day—no application required!

Supporting student wellness
Ensuring no child goes hungry
Fueling academic success

We are committed to removing barriers so our students can focus on learning and growing

For two years in a row we have improved our academic performance. We have MOMENTUM! Now the question is can we continue our FIERCE work to keep it? We will need everyone's help to make this happen. #LetsGoJags

We will have the store open for a few weeks and the orders will be delivered to campus is waves.

You can place your order here: Online Jag Swag Store - Good Promotions

Please make sure you are downloading the Cleveland ISD App. This will help you stay in touch with your teachers through their ROOMS platform that will be embedded within. See the information below to assist with getting set up.

Great news...SFMS is now registered with Box Tops. Which means your shopping can help make SFMS some $$$ to help provide for student incentives.

Please see the attachments to see how you can support SFMS and what products count towards it.

Jags, please help us keep everyone safe! Students who are being picked up must be picked up in the SFMS car riders line. Students will not be allowed to walk over to cars that are waiting in the SFE car rider line. Thank you for your careful attention to this matter and your support as we work to keep all students safe.
