STING Summary
CES will ensure high levels of learning for all.
Hello CES Families,
We are off to a great start, and excited to get back into a routine! Thank you for your patience as we work on some logistics on car rider lines. The students have been rock stars as they get familiar with new routines
If you have not turned in back-to-school paperwork, please send it in your child's folder or bring it by the office. Remember arrival time is 7:40-7:55 AM. Breakfast is served to all students daily. Good attendance is important to student success! Thank you for all you do to get your child to school on time, well-rested, and ready to do their best. Car riders begin loading at 3:13 PM Monday through Thursday, and busses load shortly after that.
The elementary office must be notified (notes are preferred) no later than 2:30 pm for any transportation changes. Transportation changes that occur during the school day must go through the office and cannot be accepted by the teacher through any means of communication including text, email or any other form of messenger.
Fast Friday is early departure, and this begins this week. Each Friday we dismiss at 2:13 PM. On Fast Friday, updates to transportation must be completed by 1:30 to allow enough time for all staff to communicate changes.
Forms for car riders to get a new card to display in vehicles will be coming home early next week. Sign up for Before & After School Program is being accepted, and it begins begins September 8TH and runs Monday through Thursday weekly. Before school begins at 6:40 AM, and students are dropped off at the back car rider line near the baseball fields. Please do not exit cars before 6:40 AM as staff are setting up before this time and not supervising students. Safety is a top priority. Everyone whose sign-up form is marked as a bus rider will get route information before we depart for Labor Day weekend. Car riders are picked up at the back car rider line by 5:15 PM.
August 21st- Fast Friday begins
September 4th and 7th: No School, Labor Day
Sept. 17Th: School Portraits
Oct 21-23: Fall Break
Students can buy Smencils in the office this year. Smencils are scented pencils that are made from recycled newspapers which are known for their unique, gourmet scents. Smencils are $2 each.
