A Note from the Principal
Hello, Ranger Families!
May has arrived, and the last few weeks of the school year will fly by! It has been an amazing year, but we are not finished learning and growing! Great things are still happening in classrooms and expectations remain high. We are also looking forward to some fun and memorable events to close out the year.
We are proud to announce that we have been selected as a Capturing Kids Hearts National Showcase School! This reflects the intentional work of staff and students to be kind, respectful, and engaged in a positive school culture - setting the stage for student success! As the weather warms up, please continue to encourage your student to be kind, focused, and respectful.
Finally, please help us keep everyone safe by being mindful of the End of Year event procedures listed below. We appreciate your patience as we work to ensure our students' safety and security while celebrating and honoring their hard work all year.
Thank you for your ongoing support—together, we make our school community stronger!
In partnership,
Stephani Grisham

End of Year Event Safety Message
As we close out the school year, we have planned a few meaningful end of year events to include Field Day, Academic Awards Assemblies, Kindergarten Graduation, and Fifth Grade Celebration Ceremony.
To support safe and orderly event and school operations, the following procedures will be implemented:
All visitors should be prepared to show a valid government-issued ID before being granted entry. Sign-in will be required at each event. Please be prepared for a line and be patient.
Access to event areas or the campus may be limited to invited visitors or volunteers. Access to the campus may be restricted depending on the event. For Field Day, no visitors will be permitted inside the building. Visitors should plan accordingly. For the Academic Awards Assemblies, Kindergarten Graduation, and Fifth Grade Celebration Ceremony, access will be limited to the cafeteria. Visitors will not be permitted in the hall or classrooms.
Students may not be signed out at the event site. If a parent/guardian decides to sign out a student after an event, they must go to the main office through the front entrance. Please be patient as classes need time to return to the room.
Details for each event will be sent separately.
We appreciate your support and cooperation as we work to provide a safe and memorable end-of-year experience.
Safe and Courteous Driving at Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up
For the safety of all students, please remember to drive slowly and follow all traffic directions during drop-off and pick-up.
Remember, parent drop-off is in the back only. If you are walking your child to the door, please use the inner lane. Avoid triple parking or stopping in active lanes, as this creates unsafe conditions and delays for others.
Your patience and courtesy help keep everyone safe and ensure a smooth flow of traffic. Thank you for your cooperation and care for our school community!
Cafeteria Visitors
We love welcoming families to join their children for lunch! To ensure a safe and orderly environment for all students, we ask that visiting parents remain at the designated parent tables and not approach student lines or other student tables. Instead, an adult working in the cafeteria can assist you in getting your student to join you at the table. These procedures are necessary to help us maintain security, protect student privacy, and keep the cafeteria running smoothly for everyone.
Additionally, at no time should visitors leave the cafeteria with their child. If parents want to sign out their student, they need to let the student return to class. The parent will go to the office to sign out the student and have the child called to the office. Please do not go to the classrooms.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us keep our school safe and organized

Parent and Teacher Partnership
Timber Ridge ES is committed to frequent two-way communication with families about their child's learning. We value and appreciate your partnership as we collaborate to ensure growth and learning for each student. If you have a concern, we ask that you allow us the opportunity to investigate and respond. If the concern is about a classroom situation, we ask that you first attempt to resolve the concern with your child's teacher. If you still have a concern after speaking with your child's teacher, please feel free to reach out to an administrator and we will be glad to assist you.
