Señora Carney's Spanish classes celebrated the November 1st holiday of Dia de los Muertos this week with fiestas! Students enjoyed authentic pan de muertos (bread of the dead) and other tasty treats. Fifth graders also created their own shoebox ofrendas, while third graders designed beautiful pictures of sugar skulls in art class. Thank you to those who volunteered to help or send in treats for the fiestas!
