In an effort to increase safety, all students will board and exit the bus in front of Walker School on 78th Ave. This change is the first step of a larger change for student drop off that will be implemented for the 2024-25 school year.

As a reminder, when the bus lights are flashing and the sign is out, please do not pass the bus. Thank you.

Students had an amazing time at our al school field trip to Wintrust.

Another wonderful event planned by our amazing PTO. Thank you to all those attended.

Kindergarten Moms were invited to take part in special Mother's Day activities with their children. Of course, at one of the stations, they received some very special manicures.

Students participated in activity stations to celebrate their positive behavior .

Every Monday, Walker School has Student Recognition Rallies. This is a time the entire school is together and we recognize the hard work of our school community. We will celebrate both academic and social emotional achievements.

Those students who were recognized on May 20th. Great job students!

Walker students celebrated their amazing teachers and support staff today with a recognition rally. All staff members were presented with a certificate of appreciation and a small bouquet of flowers. Thank you to our amazing staff!

Thank you to the PTO for sponsoring an amazing Spring Dance! Students had a great time!

Hello Walker Families,

Registration packets went home to all incoming 2nd and 6th graders. Please make your physician appointments now. All required medical forms are due before the first day of the 24-25 school year.

Remember to renew all action plans and medication authorization forms for students who require these forms for the 24-25 school year. Blank forms can be found using the health services link below or stop in the health office.

Refer to the attached letter of when to keep your child at home as well as how to inspect your child's hair for possible lice. This should be done frequently throughout the school year.

Just a reminder, no birthday treats are allowed. Treats are limited to all school celebration parties. Please see school policy if you have any questions.

Arrival

Students are to be dropped off no earlier than 7:30 AM at door 1 (8:30 on Wednesdays). Breakfast is served from 7:30-& 7:50 AM. Please do not park on 78th Ave.

Dismissal

Students will be dismissed at 2:50 each day.

Kindergarten-1st- New office area.

2nd-3rd- Door 1

4th-5th Grade will exit from door 5 (adjacent to playground)
