Lutherville Lab Report
What's gone down & what's coming up at the leopards' lair.
May 15, 2026
Lutherville Families,
We've had a blast over the last few weeks at Lutherville! Kindergarten visited Oregon Ridge, 1st grade visited the zoo, 3rd grade visited Fort McHenry. Primary grades enjoyed Box Day! Our 3rd grade Lutherville Team of Joseph H, Dot L, and Shreyansha P earned 3rd place medals in the BCPS Safe Racer Competition. And we had gorgeous weather for the Roaring Run on May 8th. What a busy few weeks!
Our students have also worked hard on testing. We are proud of our students efforts. We are also celebrating the results of English language testing for our Multi-Lingual Learners; 93.75% of students met proficiency benchmark progress this year. Congratulations to our students, their families, Mrs. Adam, and all staff working with our English Language Development students!
MCAP Testing concludes this week with 3rd grade testing on May 18 and May 20. After that, it will only be make-up testing to go!
As we continue to navigate such a busy season, please continue to reference our Spring Calendar of Events, where we try to capture most of the big events at Lutherville Lab over the next two months. This is a live document and as times are finalized, they'll be added. 3rd Grade Families please note the picnic date and time have been changed!
Have a great weekend, Leopard families!
In partnership,
-Mr. McComb
