Principal's Message
Dear Parents,
I sincerely thank you again for the incredible support and generosity of all of you who made our attendance awareness event a resounding success. We hope you and your children felt appreciated and enjoyed the day dedicated to highlighting the importance of attendance. Your donations and volunteer efforts truly made a difference in creating a positive and engaging experience for everyone involved.
As we prioritize attendance, I kindly request that you please continue to abide by our arrival and dismissal procedures. Specifically, we would like to emphasize that it is essential not to leave unattended students outside the school before 7:35 a.m.This ensures their safety and allows our staff to supervise their arrival properly. Additionally, changing plans after 2:50 p.m. has been causing logistical issues at dismissal, so we kindly ask for your cooperation in minimizing last-minute changes whenever possible.
I am thrilled to announce that our first date for parents to join their students for lunch will be Wednesday October 18th. We understand the importance of quality time with family and have worked diligently to modify our schedule to make this happen. We kindly ask for your patience as we fine-tune this process, ensuring that it runs smoothly and all participants have an enjoyable experience.
In other exciting news, I am thrilled to share that our school has been highlighted at the Transcend TX Innovation Summit. As a result of our dedication to innovative practices and a commitment to excellence, our school has been recognized for our unique approach to education. I encourage you to read the article highlighting our school's achievements and share our pride.
Lastly, please take a moment to view one of our UTSW neighborhood building implosion videos by following the link provided in the "Resources you can use" section.
Again, Thank you for your ongoing support, dedication, and trust in our school. We are truly fortunate to have such a wonderful and engaged parent community. Together, we will continue to foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for our students to thrive.
Best regards,
Dr. G
