Dear PIC Families,
Thank you to all that came out to our family literacy night last night. A good time was had by all. Please note the May 12th PTO meeting. Our membership is decreasing and we are looking for more members.

Join Band for 2025/2026
If you know a 4th or 5th grade student who’s excited about music and interested in joining band, this is the perfect time to get started! On April 29, students will have the chance to try out a variety of band instruments during the school day with guidance from Mr. Stefans, myself, and representatives from Quinlan & Fabish. Each student will receive personalized feedback and results, which will be sent home the very next day. Then, mark your calendar for Band Registration Night on Thursday, May 7, from 5:30–6:30 PM at Peotone Intermediate Center! Families will fill out a contact form, receive help choosing the best instrument fit, and get information on how to rent or purchase all necessary materials through Quinlan & Fabish. It’s a fun and informative evening designed to ensure every student has a great start in band at PIC, PJHS, PHS, and beyond!
Spring NWEA MAP Testing Coming UP
All PIC students will be participating Spring NWEA MAP testing. Testing is scheduled for May 5th during ELA and May 7th during Math. Scores will be sent home with report cards. For more information on the NWEA MAP test and how to read the scores, click below
