We wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who generously donated gift cards for our upcoming Staff Appreciation Contest in March. The number of donations far exceeded our expectations, and we are incredibly grateful for your kindness and support.

There is no doubt that our staff will truly enjoy the gift cards, and even more importantly, they will feel the tremendous gratitude behind your generosity. Your continued support means so much to our school community.

We also wanted to thank our PTA for providing staff with soft pretzels this week. Yummy, yummy, in our tummies.

Dear ARK Families,

As you know last Friday was Crossing Guard Appreciation Day. I was overwhelmed and humbled by the out pouring of love that I received. The amazing cards that the children took the time to make made me feel so special. I always tell everyone that I have the BEST job. Please thank everyone who made this possible and thank you for letting me be a part of the ARK family.

One important ask: please limit the amount of time spent stopped during drop-off. If possible, have your child exit on the building side for safety, and then pull forward so traffic can continue moving. If your child is able, practicing unbuckling and exiting independently at home would be very helpful.

In February, we are focusing on empathy—understanding others’ feelings and showing kindness through our words and actions. Families can support this by modeling compassion and encouraging children to consider others’ perspectives at home.
