Dear PES Families,

Today during our all-school meeting, Ms. Swasey and the 4th graders shared a thoughtful message about kindness. As part of our commitment to our school motto, "Keep it on your mind, Be Respectful, Safe and Kind," we will be focusing on these values in our upcoming meetings. Additionally, we are excited to introduce our Paw posters in classrooms. Students will earn stickers for acts of kindness, which they can add to their posters. We look forward to celebrating these achievements at our next all-school meeting.

*Please note the Open House date change below, it will now be on 9/25. Prior to our Open House we will have our Title 1 meeting from 5:00-5:30.

* YELLOW LINE PICK UP!- Please wait in your car for your student. The road from the students to you can be very busy. Teachers will walk your student over to your line so that they can get in the car. Your children are excited to see you so when they run in a busy area, this can be dangerous. We want to keep everyone safe!

Important Dates

September 24 - School Pictures

***September 25- Annual Title 1 meeting 5:00- 5:30 and Open House 5:30-6:30**** THIS DATE HAS CHANGED!

Title 1

Our annual Title 1 meeting will be on 9/25 from 5:00-5:30. We will review our Title I program, policies/guidelines and family engagement for supporting student learning. There will be childcare provided during this time!

Pick Up Patrol

Please use Pick Up Patrol to communicate your child's absences and dismissal changes. If you have a last minute change and it is after 3:15, we ask that you wait in our parent pick up line, the office gets very busy at the end of the day and it can be difficult to respond to last minute dismissals, thank you for your understanding!

Reminders:

You can drop off your student in the loop in the front of the school AND on the side of the building as you are driving up

Please do not park in the first row of the parking lot during dismissal time, this blocks the road and doesn't allow for busses to get through the line.
Preschool Drop off starts at 8:45, this allows for busses to get through without getting blocked, please do not drop off prior to this time!
