Midview Community,

I hope everyone enjoyed a truly restful and joyful Thanksgiving Break! As we now transition into the final stretch before winter break and the bustle of the holiday season begins, I’m reminded once again of the incredible spirit that defines Midview Local Schools. Every week, I’m inspired by the many stories of student achievement, staff dedication, and family involvement across our district—each one a reminder of what makes Midview such a special place.

In the days ahead, our buildings will be buzzing with holiday energy—choral and band rehearsals, classroom projects filled with festive learning, and our winter athletic teams working hard and representing our community with pride. If you’re looking for a way to get involved and support our students, now is a perfect time: attend a concert, cheer at a game, or volunteer at an event. These moments highlight the remarkable talent, determination, and sense of connection we share.

We also recognize that the holidays bring excitement — and sometimes stress. If your family could use extra support, please remember our counselors, family liaisons, and social workers are ready to help. Reach out to your building’s office or visit our district website to connect.

As we head into the final month of the year, I encourage each of us to pause and embrace both the big events and the simple joys: sharing time with loved ones, reflecting on what we’re grateful for, or carving out a quiet moment just for yourself. These are the things that carry us forward, together.

Thank you for your continued partnership and trust in Midview Local Schools. Wishing you a December filled with joy, peace, and abundant Middie pride!

Once a Middie, Always a Middie,

Dr. Frank Major, Superintendent
