Help Shape Centennial Academy: Join the Head of School’s Family Advisory Council
As an EL Education school, Centennial Academy believes families are essential partners in the life of our school and the success of every scholar. We are committed to creating meaningful opportunities for families to share diverse perspectives, provide feedback, and collaborate with school leadership.
To deepen this partnership, we are excited to introduce the Head of School’s Family Advisory Council, a dedicated group of parents and guardians who will meet with the Executive Director twice each school year.
Council members will serve as a vital sounding board for school initiatives, share insight into family experiences and school climate, and collaborate with the Executive Director to strengthen our school community.
Your voice matters. Your perspective strengthens our Crew. Together, we help shape Centennial Academy.
***Note: The Advisory Council focuses on school-wide policies, strategic goals, and community culture (individual student or personnel concerns will continue through standard school support channels).
Core Responsibilities of the Council
Pulse Checks: Provide real-time parent feedback on campus culture, communication, and major school initiatives.
Strategic Sounding Board: Review and offer input on future programs, school priorities, and policies before broad rollout.
Family Engagement Advocates: Help leadership identify gaps in family-school partnerships and brainstorm ways to strengthen community involvement.
Constructive Problem-Solving: Surface shared concerns and work collaboratively toward solutions that benefit the entire student body.

- Scholars in grades 1, 3, 5, and 8 will participate in vision screening on September 21st and 22nd. Scholars who returned an opt-out form will not participate.
Online Uniform Sales Coming Soon!

We are excited to announce that online uniform sales will be launching VERY SOON!
In the meantime, families who need to purchase uniform polos or Centennial-branded outerwear may place an order directly with Ms. Hodges. Please email shodges@centennialacademycharter.org with the sizes, colors, quantities, and items you would like to purchase (Polos $15, Outerwear $35).
Please note: Until our online store is up and running, families will need to come to the school to complete payment and pick up their uniform items.
