Breaking Your Lease
Do you need to break your lease to escape a dangerous situation? In this workshop, we’ll go over three situations in which you may be able to break a lease without liability, including:
- You’ve experienced stalking, unlawful harassment, domestic violence, or sexual assault.
- You’ve been assaulted by another tenant, and the other tenant was arrested.
- Your landlord hasn’t responded to a serious repair issue in a reasonable amount of time.
- We’ll also discuss what to expect when breaking a lease in other circumstances.

NATURAL LEADERS GROUP
Natural Leaders serve as multi-cultural bridges between students, families, communities, and schools.
The Natural Leaders program uses an asset-based model to help families identify and cultivate the skills necessary to overcome systemic barriers. Parents take on leadership roles to build stronger relationships with families and their children and identify best practices. They then take action to help families be successful in the school system and implement their ideas in partnership with the schools.
Natural Leaders can help in the following:
*Lunch and Recess Supervision
*Helping teachers with their classroom projects (cutting, stapling, copying, sorting, etc)
*In the classroom
*School events
*Sharing their talents, and ideas to make CPE a better place
*Attend the monthly meetings
Everyon is welcome!

Coordinated Entry
Coordinated Entry
Coordinated Entry is a process for individuals and families in Snohomish County who are experiencing homelessness or are at imminent risk of homelessness to access needed homelessness prevention, housing and/or other services. Coordinated Entry incorporates uniform screening and assessment, prioritization and program matching, and connections to mainstream services to help those seeking housing and services access appropriate programs more efficiently and effectively.
The Coordinated Entry system supports the purpose of Snohomish County’s Continuum of Care and its governing board, the Partnership to End Homelessness, which is to promote community wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness; promote access to and effective utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families; and optimize self-sufficiency among individuals and families who are currently experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness.
For more information visit the Coordinated Entry page.
