Building Strong Partnerships for Student Success
One of the greatest strengths of our school is the partnership we share with our families. When home and school work together, children thrive. Research consistently shows that students achieve at higher levels—academically, socially, and emotionally—when parents and caregivers are actively engaged in their learning. Whether it’s talking about the school day, reading together, reinforcing routines, or communicating with teachers, these connections make a powerful difference.
At our school, we are committed to building a true community of care and kindness—one where every child feels safe, supported, and known. That sense of belonging is strengthened when families and staff work together with a shared goal: helping our students grow into confident, capable learners.
As the colder weather settles in, we also want to highlight the importance of healthy sleep habits and consistent routines. Adequate sleep plays a critical role in children’s ability to focus, regulate emotions, and learn effectively. Even when mornings are dark and chilly, maintaining regular bedtimes and morning routines helps set students up for success each day.
Thank you for being such important partners in your child’s education. Your support, involvement, and care truly make a difference in our school community. If you have not heard from your students classroom teacher regarding Parent / Teacher Conferences the week of February 9th-12th, please reach out to them through Rooms, email, or call the office.
Warmly,
Leslie Blockman, Principal
