Summer 2026
God's Kingdom is Unshakable!
"Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful,
and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe."
Hebrews 12:28
Summer Team, Rice Planting, and Baptisms!
It was a joy to partner with Siriwan and Wichian, the Naomi House crew, and the Kumrod family to host and translate for the Multiply ACTION team in June!
Praise God for lives saying "yes" to Jesus' invitations to know Him and walk with Him!
Praise the Lord for an amazing Multiply ACTION team that partnered with ministries in Chiang Mai and were the aroma of Christ among many people and places! The unity, kindness, prayers, humility and faith-filled boldness of this team left a lasting impact on the lives they interacted with.
The ACTION team helped the Naomi House community plant a nursery of rice seed, which the Naomi House women and families, and many community neighbors, joined together to re-plant for a coming harvest of over 3 acres. Praise God for this sustainable food source for the Naomi House families and new community friends!
The ACTION team joined Naomi House church for the baptisms of 8 new discipled believers. God's Kingdom is expanding beyond the walls of Naomi House and seamstresses....to family, friends, neighbors and community! The ACTION team built favor with their Thai hotel and they welcomed the baptisms in their hotel swimming pool! Through the ACTION team, God provided a beautiful cloud of witnesses for this growing church, through partnership, prayer, and even provision of a life guard for the children eager to jump in and cool off!

Celebration of Lives Choosing to Follow Jesus in Baptism!
Jit's Journey Coninues...
Many have been praying for Jit since "meeting" him in the Spring Naomi House News. Thank you! God is answering your prayers and here's an update from him: A few months after losing his wife, Jit met a woman he believed was God's answer to bring him a wife and a mother for his baby Nathan. When it became clear that he wanted to be baptized as a public symbol of His faith in Jesus, his new wife, Fah said, "Now that we're married, I want to follow your God. I will ask Siriwan to teach me what it means to be a Christian, and I want to be baptized so our whole family is following Jesus together." Not only were Jit and Fah baptized in June, but also his college age daughter, 'G'. Together they are being discipled by Wichian and Siriwan, reading Scripture together and learning of their belovedness in Christ. Pray for ongoing growth in their faith and influence on many!

"The Kingdom of God is near!" Mark 1:15
"He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." Colossians 1:13-14
The ACTION team walked and prayed through a prominenet hill-side Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai. Seeing and experiencing spiritual eyes and ears blinded by the enemy was a sorrowful reality for many. The spiritual battle is real, and despite the darkness, lives are being transformed by the living, redeeming God!
Pray for hearts in this nation to be open to the transforming love of Jesus, for blinding darkness to fall, and for boldness among the Believers as they share the hope they have in Christ!
Praise the Lord! Vision for Growth!
Leaning in With Gratitude for Land!
As the Naomi House sewing center and productivity multiply, family and community members finding freedom in Christ do too! We are thankful for the provision of land, rice harvest, and for anticipated facilities being developed over the coming year! Pray with us for God's full favor and provision as we take each next step towards these dreams coming true as the Church in Doi Saket grows!
"I thank my God in all my remembrance of you..."
"...always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a ood work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." Philippians 1: 3-6
We are so grateful for teams and friends-who-are-like-family who come alongside what God is doing in Chiang Mai! Lu and Richard Schroeder were a huge blessing as they served with the Naomi House community for many weeks!
Community Naomi House Ministries
Loving the Community to Jesus
Many of the Naomi House women's husbands have small businesses, like cleaning air conditioners, or raising and selling birds, so they are able to join Wichian during the cool morning or evening hours to visit neighbors and encourage them with the love of Jesus.Pray for Wichian and the men he is discipling as they are sharing the Gospel with community neighbors.
Siriwan loved connecting with community women during the rice planting! Pray for hearts open to receive the love of Jesus and ongoing opportunities to partner in community development.
Ministry in Juvenile Girls' Prison
Siriwan continues to faithfully lead and network with a team of women who visit the prisoners weekly and share the love of Jesus. Pray for "Do," a new girl to prison who gave her heart to Jesus recently, and for "Kat" who is tormented by unstable mental health and is in and out of the psych hospital. May Jesus be merciful to each one as He loves them to Himself and transforms their hearts and future.
(We were so thankful that the entire Summer ACTION team got to minister in the juvy! The girls LOVED the games, powerful testimonies and prayer.)
"Worship is the Fuel and Goal for Mission"
"Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Missions exists because worship doesn't...When this age is over, and the countless millions of the redeemed fall on their faces before the throne of God, missions will be no more. It is a temporary necessity. But worship abides forever...The goal of missions is the gladness of the peoples in the greatness of God." (John Piper, Let the Nations Be Glad)
Naomi House families were so excited and grateful for a team from the MB Churches in Central Thailand who spent a day with them, encouraging and equipping them in worship through music.
"Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!
Let the nations be glad and sing for joy!" Psalm 67:3-4
And the Sewing Continues...
The Gift of Kingdom Partnerships!
We praise God daily for amazing partners whose mission is to see the Kingdom of God come through missional business. The work they generate for the ladies at Naomi House contributes to sustainable income for 10-12 families. They also partner to subsidize education for 20 children from preschool through college (where rising costs of education present a threatening challenge for many children to stay in school), and support quality healthcare for the women and their children.
We invite you to join us in investing in these dear families by planning early for Christmas 2026! Below is a sneak-peak of some of the Christmas treasures the ladies are producing. Visit the AdornCo website (https://theadornco.com/) to find many more incredible products sewn by the talented seamstresses at Naomi House (both machine and hand-embroidered).
Through your purchase, the AdornCo is able to continue to partner in generosity toward the holistic needs of the Naomi House families. And...we know you will LOVE the quality products designed by our friends at the AdornCo and produced by the Naomi House ladies!

Making Disciples...Who Make Disciples...
...This is Our Calling as Followers of Jesus
My (Carmen's) daughter JJ, and her dear friend, Patience, joined the ACTION team to Thailand this Summer. What a privilege to witness all that God is doing in and through their lives as they love and follow Jesus, and overflow His character to those around them!
"We need a photo, mom!" JJ exclaimed. "Patience and I are like you and P' (Auntie) Siriwan!"
May we all continue to be more like Jesus, our forever-faithful and good Shepherd, who has led and continues to guide us so faithfully as we look to Him and watch His redemption plans unfold.
“The people to whom we minister and speak will not recall 99% of what we say to them. But they will never forget the kind of persons we are…The quality of our souls will indelibly touch others for good or ill so we must never forget that the most important thing happening at any moment, in the midst of all our ministerial duties, is the kind of person’s we are becoming.”

If interested to partner with him, donations can be made here:

She works at AROMA Coffeehouse most Saturdays. Her theme verse is, "Count it all joy..." (James 1:2). Pray for discernment for next year's college plans, and for joy in the journey of Senior year! (And for her parents as we pre-grieve our last Senior!) :)
