Another great week is ahead at MAST! It is hard to believe we are already entering Week 12. Our Sharks continue to learn, grow, and make us proud each day!

This week, we will wrap up CogAT/IOWA testing with our 2nd grade students. We are proud of their hard work and appreciate our families for helping them come to school ready to do their best!

We also have two great opportunities for families to connect with us this week! On Thursday, we will host our SHARK Success Playbook Parent Workshop, where families will learn practical strategies to support student success at home and school. Then, on Friday morning, we look forward to welcoming ALL adult figures for another All Pro Dad gathering!

Thank you for continuing to partner with us as we work to make MAST the best place for our Sharks to learn and grow. We hope to see you this week!

We are excited to welcome Wolf & Vinny’s Art Academy for our MAST Afterschool Art Club!

Students in grades K–5 will have the chance to explore their creativity, learn new art techniques, and bring their imagination to life! Each week offers a new opportunity to create something special.

*Parents have the right to know the professional qualifications of their child's teachers and assistants. Our district must provide information about professional qualifications in a timely manner.

The Spirit Rock is available for families to rent, offering a special way to celebrate your student! Check out the guidelines and sign-up link below. All proceeds will go toward funding our field trips this year!

Just like this past school year, we are offering a virtual volunteer training. Follow the steps in the attached file to be cleared to chaperone for field trips and other school events. Please note that MAST requires that all volunteers have a current background check through our Raptor system (information about how to order is in the attached document). Background checks are good for 3 calendar years. If you have any questions, please contact me at whitneymoore@pickens.k12.sc.us. We look forward to working with you this year!
