Dear Parents and Guardians,
Our staff worked diligently to finalize class placements. We understand that learning who your child’s teacher and classmates will be is an exciting and sometimes anxious moment for both students and families.
Creating balanced classrooms is a complex puzzle that our educators spend weeks navigating. Our goal is to create environments where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. When placing students, we carefully consider:
Academic & Learner Complexities: We balance learning styles, academic needs, and support services so that teachers can effectively differentiate instruction for all students.
Social & Emotional Dynamics: We look at peer relationships, ensuring every student has familiar faces while also fostering opportunities to make new friends. We also take care to separate dynamics that may hinder a student's focus or comfort.
Classroom Demographics: We strive for a balanced boy-to-girl ratio and an equitable distribution of class sizes across each grade level.
Because moving just one student can create a domino effect that disrupts this delicate balance, we are unable to accommodate any requests for class changes at this time.
We have found that children are incredibly resilient and often thrive when given the chance to step into a new environment.
Our teachers are deeply committed to spending the first few weeks of school building a strong, inclusive classroom community where every child feels safe, valued, and connected.
Thank you for your trust, partnership, and support as we work together to make this a fantastic school year for your child.
Warmly,
Mrs. Erin Croft
Principal
