Dear Bryan Middle Families,

The last day of school is Wednesday, May 21, and it’s important that students are here every day and focused on learning as we finish out the school year.

Each day between now and May 21 matters. Our teachers are continuing instruction through the very last day to help students build the skills they need for next year. Now is not the time for students to miss school or lose focus. Daily attendance and engagement are critical.

We want every student to finish strong by passing all their classes and being fully prepared for the next grade level. If your student has missing work or needs extra support, it’s important they take advantage of the resources available and stay committed through the end.

We encourage you to check your student's grades regularly through the Parent Portal. Students can also access their grades through the student portal on their iPads.

Thank you for partnering with us to help every Bear succeed. Let’s work together to make these last few weeks the strongest yet!

Please join us on Thursday, May 8th, at 8:00 AM for our final Parent Coffee of the year. Come learn about all the fun activities planned for the end of the year. Sports teams are now working on recruiting 6th grade students in wrestling, swimming, track, and soccer. If you have a 6th grader who is interested in any of these sports, please have them follow up with the coach of that sport.

We want EVERY student at Bryan Middle School to become a member of the Boys and Girls Club. They have activities for grades 6 to 8, provide mentoring to our students, and are a safe place to stay if students need to wait for a parent after school. They are open from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on school days. There is NO charge for Bryan Middle School students. Just put a 0 in the box when it asks for payment. We are seeking family members to help start a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) that will support students, teachers, and staff at Bryan Middle School. As a PTO member, you will have the opportunity to become more informed about your child’s middle school experience and education as well as joining the amazing Bryan Middle community.
