PTA Weekly Update

Good morning Huskie Families,
We're in the home stretch - just a couple more weeks until winter break. We know this is a very busy time of year, so we'll keep this short!
Don't forget to stop by Noodles & Company for our Dough Raising event on Wednesday, December 10. Save yourself some time in the kitchen AND raise a little money for Spring Brook. (Details follow.)
Also, the kids had fun learning about many of the cultures represented at Spring Brook on Friday's Multicultural Day. Thank you, always, to the many volunteers who helped make the day a success!

The next dough raising event will be held THIS Wednesday, December 10 at the Noodles & Co. at 137 N. Weber Road from 4 - 8 p.m. Mark your calendar for a night off from the kitchen, and join other Huskie families for some food, fun, and fundraising!
The Tile Wall Project is underway! This is your child's opportunity to create art that will be printed onto ceramic tiles and hung forever on the walls of Spring Brook. Encourage your child to leave their legacy. Kids love to go down the tile hall to see their tile art!
The cost is $20.00 per tile. You can register and complete your artwork anytime from now through December 19, 2025. All finished artwork is due by December 19, 2025.
Flyers went home with kids before Thanksgiving break. You will also be provided with digital copies of these items once you have registered for this project. Please allow up to 48 hours to receive the materials and check your junk mail, the email will come from sb_tilewall@hotmail.com. Students should complete their artwork at home and return finished masterpieces to the school or event coordinator Adrienne Sagen.

We are excited to host our annual Bingo for Books event again this year, on January 8. This event is a great opportunity for your student to gather with their Huskie friends to have some fun and win books!
We are currently collecting donations of any good condition, elementary appropriate books. We do not accept board books, and can always use more books for our 4th & 5th grade students.
Book donations can be delivered to the school starting December 1. Prior to that, you can arrange for a pick up or drop off with our Bingo for Books chair, Jacqueline Baird.
A Note from Our Community Relations Chair:
As the PTA looks for new ways to partner with the community to enrich the lives of our students, we are expanding our sponsorship program for events during the 2025-2026 school year.
If your family owns or is connected to a local business and is interested in sponsoring a Spring Brook event, please see the attached letter for more information or reach out to Ellen Muryan.
PTA Meeting: January 29, 2026
Please join us in the Multipurpose Room for the first PTA meeting of 2026. It will be held on Thursday, January 9 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
The board will meet to discuss upcoming plans, events, and more. You can ask questions, and hear from a guest Spring Brook staff member. Can't attend in person? Join via Google Meet. Login info to come.
Note, there is no meeting this month.
