H.L. Lubker Elementary

Dear H.L. Lubker Families,

We are thrilled to share that our entire building, students in grades K–5 and all elementary staff, is now officially sorted into Houses. This is a big step in building unity and excitement across our school.

Students and staff are already working hard to earn individual and House points for going above and beyond. At the end of the year, we will celebrate in a big way with the House that earns the most points. Along the way, there will also be plenty of opportunities for recognition and fun.

Our first monthly House Celebration will take place Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. sharp. Please make sure your child arrives on time so they do not miss it. During this celebration, we will introduce students to our monthly incentives at the student, class, and grade levels, as well as review our school-wide behavior expectations.

Remember that Mondays are House Color Mondays. Students are encouraged to show their House pride by wearing their House colors each week. During our monthly celebrations, students will sit with their Houses to cheer each other on.

Thank you for your continued support as we grow this tradition. We are excited to see how our Houses encourage teamwork, leadership, and school spirit throughout the year.

Pick Up & Drop Off Reminders

In the mornings, please stop before the crosswalk and have your child ready to exit quickly at the drop-off spot.
The gate closes at 7:55 a.m. If you arrive after that time, please check your child in through the office. They are not tardy until 8 but due to construction and trying to get our students to class to start learning, the gate closes at 7:55 a.m.
In the afternoons, K–1 parents should pull all the way up to the staff member waving you forward, this helps us load more cars at a time. Grades 2–5 should continue around by the auditorium for pick up.

Our Specials teachers help students discover new talents, express themselves, and build skills that go far beyond the classroom. They bring energy, passion, and heart to everything they do, and we are so thankful for the joy they add to each school day.

Morning Drop Off

Nurse's Update

Our annual health screenings will be taking place this month. Please check the district website and watch for announcements from your child's teacher for more information.
Students needing immunizations are being contacted by the nurse's office via phone calls, text messages, and letters. The deadline for these immunizations is October 1st.

We would love for you to scan your receipts for Box Tops to help our school earn money. You can also connect your Wal-Mart app to Box Top and it will get your box tops added for you.
