Parent Teacher Conference Info

Dear Whittier Families,

We are looking forward to connecting with you soon for our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences! These sessions are a wonderful opportunity to share your student's progress and work together to support their growth this year.

Here are the details for our conference times:

Thursday, October 22nd: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Friday, October 23rd: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Our conferences are held on an informal, "come-and-go" basis, so feel free to drop in when it works best for your schedule. If you are looking to have a longer or more in-depth conversation, Friday morning is typically the ideal time to visit, as the schedule is often a bit more spacious.

Thank you for your ongoing partnership and support. We look forward to seeing you next week!

Healthy Choices Week

Healthy Choices Week is October 26-30th! During that week, students will learn about ways to keep their minds and bodies healthy. Secondary students will also learn about the dangers of fentanyl. One easy step adults can take toward prevention efforts is to decrease youth access to dangerous substances and weapons. We encourage families to register for a Child Safety Kit which can include a medical lockbox and firearm lock. Register here: https://bit.ly/3VwKoJD

After School Tutoring

Please drop off your student between 8:15 and 8:30 using the map procedure below. Breakfast will be available from 8:15 - 8:30. All students will either be eating breakfast or waiting in one of the gyms until we release to class at 8:30.

6th graders - Cafeteria gym

7th Graders - Wrestling Gym

8th graders - Recreation Gym

IF YOU ARE DROPPING OFF AFTER 8:35 AM, PLEASE DROP OFF YOUR STUDENT IN THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING. AFTER 8:35 THE BACK DOORS WILL BE LOCKED.

*There is a designated table in the front office for families to drop off food for students at lunch! Please put your student's name on the bag and place on the table located at the back of the main office. Please make sure that you are communicating with your student that you will be dropping off lunch. The office will not notify the student that lunch has been dropped off. We do not accept food delivery services (Uber Eats, Doordash, etc.) on behalf of students.
