Congratulations to #PointerNation on another successful state report card! For the first time, all three of our schools, as well as the district, received the prestigious five star rating. Any time the temperature is above 0 degrees, we will have outdoor recess. Please be sure your child comes to school with a warm jacket, boots, snow pants, hat and gloves. If providing any of these items may cause a hardship on your family, please contact our school counselor. Please take a minute to label all items before sending them to school.

What a truly special moment! Tatum and Bridget Tippett held a book signing of "Tatum's Voice" in our elementary library! Children with apraxia struggle mightily to accurately produce and sequence sounds, syllables, and words. Their understanding of language is generally much better than their ability to express it.

The word of the month for November is "gratitude". Students will be introduced to the concept of gratitude through guidance lessons. Teachers will be reinforcing a gratitude mindset by housing "gratitude jars" where students can write down something that they are grateful for, and these notes will later be shared with the class.
