School Counselor Student Appointments
This year, we're making it easier than ever for students to connect with their counselor. Each counselor has a QR code linked to their calendar, available on the bulletin board outside of the counseling suite.
If you're unsure who your counselor is please check powerschool or stop by the counseling office.

9th Grade
Freshman year is all about a fresh start! Make sure the transition to 9th grade is focused on academics and exploring all of the activities that RHS has to offer.
Academically, students are encouraged to sign up for flex sessions for intervention as well as enrichment. Students learn about flex and how to sign up for sessions during advisory.
Getting involved in clubs and activities at RHS, is another way to create meaningful relationships and explore students interests and passions. Make sure your student attends the activities fair in October to see all the exciting clubs and activities they can be a part of. Check out our Student Life Office Website, to see the clubs and activities that ran last year.
One of the goals of the counseling department is to create strong relationships with our incoming freshman, by meeting with all 9th graders in small groups during flex by mid September!
9th Grade Tours
Over 250 freshman came to RHS for counselor tours. Students met their counselors, toured the building and recieved a preview of all of the fun yet to come!
