26-27 Kindergarten
We are now in the process of compiling a list of children who will be
eligible to start Kindergarten in September 2026.
If you have a child in your household who will be 5 years of age on or before October 1, 2026, please complete the survey below.
Gr 3-8 Link It Parent Portal
We now have the ability to provide you access to your students' assessment data digitally through the LinkIt Parent Portal. Within the LinkIt Parent Portal, you will currently see 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 benchmark assessment data and attendance data for students in grades 3-8. We hope this information compliments the data received with your child’s report card.
It is critical to remember the purpose of each assessment and what it is measuring when the assessment is given. For example: Benchmarks are often given three times a year (fall, winter, and spring). The fall and winter benchmarks are measuring students abilities based on grade level standards that they have NOT been taught yet. By the spring benchmark, you will see a more realistic perspective on where a student is as it relates to grade level standards.
The url of the Delaware Township LinkIt! Parent portal is: Delaware.linkit.com/Parent
You will receive an email from LinkIt! with your registration code. Your username will be your email address listed in Genesis where you received the registration code. You will then be directed to create your password.
Please contact Ms. Wheatley at vwheatley@dtsk8nj.org, if you are in need of a registration code or are missing one of your children’s data once logged in.
We hope you find this information helpful. Our teachers have been using this data to inform their instruction, groupings, and reteaching efforts. If you have questions about your child’s assessment data, the best place to start is with the classroom teacher who is by far the most knowledgeable person about your child’s academic abilities.
Role Models of Character Education
Each month, our DTS students will discuss and learn about a character education trait.
February's character education trait was Compassion.
A student from each PK-5 homeroom and Gr 6-8 content area was chosen because he/she demonstrated responsibility this month and a role model for others.
Congratulations to all of the recipients below!
In March, we will highlight students who demonstrate Honesty!
