Student-Led Conferences: Thursday 10th September
Student-Led Conferences are an opportunity for your child to share their learning, progress and achievements with you.
Your child should attend the conference with you. During the 20-minute meeting, your child will take the lead in sharing some of their learning and talking about what they have been working on at school. They may share examples of their work, discuss their achievements and talk about their next steps or goals.
Your child’s teacher will be there to support the conversation, answer any questions you may have and provide feedback about your child’s learning and progress. Please allow 20 minutes for your conference and arrive a few minutes early so that we can keep appointments running on time.
Please click on the link below to make your booking or go to schoolinterviews.co.nz and enter code tcxwy
* Please be advised that school will close for instruction at 1.30pm on this day. The buses will run at the earlier time of 1.30pm.
WHĀNAU HUI - TUESDAY 22nd SEPTEMBER AT 6PM
"Kōrero mai, e te whānau - have your say!
We'd like to invite all our whānau to come along to our Whānau Hui. It's an opportunity for you to see our kapa haka perform, enjoy some kai, and let us know your thoughts on how we can continue to deliver excellent opportunities for our ākonga Māori. We'd love to hear what we're doing well, what we could be doing better, and any new ideas you'd like to see us try. This year's Whānau Hui will be held in the school hall at 6pm, Tuesday 22nd September. Save the date!"

Maths practice tool for Years 3 to 8
A Maths practice tool for Years 3 to 8 has been developed following feedback from parents and whānau that they wanted practical ways to support learning at home.
To help support schools with promoting this tool, we have developed imagery that can be used on social media and in school newsletters, along with recommended messaging. This is available on Tāhūrangi:
ONLINE GP CARE
With health services experiencing high demand, online GP care is an option for accessing care and the service is now free for all ākonga up to, and including, the age of 13.
Appointments usually take place through a video app or a phone call and the service can prescribe medicine and send prescriptions to your nearest pharmacy. It also provides another care option for rural communities.
