The Weekly Highlander
Volume #21
A Message from the Principal
Dear Highlander Families:
This week, Mrs.Ehrhard and Ms.Lockman were both awarded grants from the Tustin Public School Foundation. These grants will be used to enhance the educational experience of the students at Hewes with a science assembly for 7th graders and PE equipment that will be used by all students.
Next week is Kindness Week, and our ASB has planned dress-up days so students and staff can show their support and school spirit. Our counselors and ASB have planned lunchtime activities each day where students can participate in a range of ways to share kindness on campus.
Please consider ways to connect with our community. You can attend Knight at the Museum, dine at Chick-fil-A this week, join the PTA board, or attend general PTA meetings. There is information in this newsletter about each of these opportunities and so much more. Please stay connected to Hewes by checking our website and following us on Instagram @heweshighlanders for the latest information and news.
