Hello Barrett Families!

Happy New Year! We hope that 2026 brings you and your family health and happiness! We are looking forward to a wonderful second half of our school year! In our literacy curriculum, we are focusing on Unit 4 - Food. Our focus questions are: Where does food come from? and What are healthy food choices?

Winter is in full swing and so are the germs! Please make sure to keep your child home if he/she has a fever. Your child must be fever free for 24 hours without medicine in order to return to school!

Our next fundraiser is an easy one! We will be hosting a dine out night on January 29th at Papa Ginos right in Brockton! 20% of all orders from 11:00-8:00 will go directly to our school! Please make sure you refer to the flyer and the Barrett Russell when ordering.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Patriots Fridays! - Wear your Patriots gear every Friday to support the New England Patriots as they move through the Playoffs! Hopefully we will see them in the Superbowl again this year!

January 19 - NO SCHOOL MLK Day

January 29 - No School PRE-K Staff PD Day

January 29 - Papa Gino's Fundraiser! 11:00-8:00

January 30 - English muffin pizza day!

In these pictures, the students are participating in exploring the concept of how liquids change to solids. They completed a worksheet to learn about this process and then made popsicles to observe how a liquid turns solid when placed in the freezer. The students were very excited to enjoy their popsicles afterward!
