Purpose: This event is geared at having fun and enjoying our time together!
Expectations: #1 Costumes should not disrupt the learning environment for our students or teachers. Keep this in mind when planning your costume. The list below includes a few highlight reminders but is not all inclusive.
Please adhere to the elements of the attire expectations from the handbook. Costumes must be school appropriate and not negatively impact the learning environment.
No full face makeup
No masks
Your costume must be completely put on at home.
Colored hair spray must be applied at home
No gore or excessive “blood”
No props. That includes weapons, broom sticks, blasters, light sabers, torches, etc.
Your costume must allow you to move around the building and participate in class - including dressing out for PE.
EPIC Costume Contest: Epic is hosting an extended recess celebration for our students! Games, Contests, DJ, Fun!
***Should a costume negatively impact the learning environment for students or teachers, the costume will need to be removed. PE clothes will be used so that parents and instruction time are not impacted by a change of clothes.
