Wildcat News

Join us on Thursday, December 1st at 6:00 pm in the Library for our monthly PTO meeting. Agenda items include Family Fun Night reflection, Santa Store and January Fundraiser.

If students would like to play or walk in the snow during recess, they need to have snow boots AND a pair of shoes to change into. This helps keeps feet dry, keeps the melting snow out of the classroom and ensures students have appropriate shoes to participate in PE.

If your student is in need of a winter coat, please reach out to Mrs. Wagner at hwagner@nppsd.org. First United Methodist Church has a coat closet to provide new coats for students in need. Once you contact Mrs. Wagner, a coupon will be sent home and families can call and make an appointment with the church to pick up a coat.

The following students and staff have been chosen as the Players of the Month because they are excellent examples of what is means to be Wildcat. They follow the Washington Way being respectful, responsible, safe, kind and a positive influence. Congratulations and keep being positive role models.

If you are interested, there are 2 ways you can help us earn money for Washington through Casey's Rewards. First, you can sign yourself up for Casey's Rewards, earning points at the pump or in the store. You can then donate your points to Washington Elementary, which can then be turned into cash. If you don't not want to create your own account, you can enter the school's phone number 308-535-7142, at the pump or in store to earn points on the school account. Please invite grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles to help us earn money by simply buying gas or a soda.

Washington Elementary is a Title I School. All teachers and paraprofessionals meet the professional qualifications as required by Federal Law. Parents have the right to request credentials of staff.
