School doors will open at 7:05 to begin accepting students. Doors will close at 7:33. If students are not in the building by 7:35 they will be counted tardy. New tardy policy. Any student that is late will need to be walked in by their parents and they must sign their student in. Dismissal will begin at 4:00. Parents have until 4:30 to pick up their students. If students are not picked up by 4:30 they will be walked over to after school care at the secondary campus and you will have to pay a fee.

Only kindergarten parents will be allowed to walk their student in the first day. All other students must go through carpool.

What about school supplies

We charge a yearly supply fee of $172 per student. This fee will need to be paid by October 2, 2026. the fee pays for supplies, class shirt, field trips and field day.

You should have completed a t-shirt size request in your registration paperwork, so we will have the information to order the shirts.

You will have the opportunity to pay this fee at Meet the Teacher. You can pay with cash or check. If you do not pay at meet the teacher you will be invoiced in myschoolbucks to pay. You will be notified once your invoice is created.

Parent Portal Information

This is the online portal that parents will update student information and check grades and attendance. Be sure that you have this set up.

This must be completed every year

Please make sure that you go to our website and fill out your yearly background check. This allows you to come into the building and help out teachers, attend field trips, and help in the classroom. This must be completed annually.

Traffci Map

All parents MUST drop off in carpool. If you are not chosen as a walker you MUST pick up in carpool. Students must be dropped off before 7:33 and picked up no later than 4:30. Traffic pattern has not changed.

New water bottle procedure

All water bottles must close this year and not be able to spill if tipped over. No straws are allowed. No Stanleys are allowed. Thank you in advance for purchasing the correct water bottle.

New Tardy Procedure

This year if your child is dropped off after 7:35 a parent must come into the front office and sign the tardy book. This will help us monitor the amount of tardies that students are receiving. Administration will be standing at the door to greet and welcome all. It is very important that students get to school on time so that they can begin their day.

Leader in Me Meet and Greet

Please come and get to know your child's friends and families. This event is an opportunity to meet ALL the staff and learn about Leader in Me. Please bring your lawn chairs, blankets for a picnic and dinner or snacks. We look forward to seeing you. This is a come and go even from 5:00-6:00.

Little Miss Cheer

LPS Cheer is hosting its annual Little Miss Cheer!! Registration is open to Kindergarten-5th grade. Attendees will learn a cheer, chant, dance and jumps. They will also have the opportunity to perform before our Homecoming Football game on September 23rd!

Registration includes a shirt and a snack.
