Hello Bulldog Families.

As spring approaches in a high school, course scheduling for the following school year kicks into full swing. This week, our BHS students received their schedules and started working with their teachers to discuss their course options for the 2024-2025 school year. Reference the “upcoming important dates” section below so you know when your student’s scheduling week is set. As always, reach out to your student’s counselor if you have any questions.

We are excited to watch our amazingly-talented students in The Little Mermaid this weekend. These high school students, along with three of our dedicated teachers, have worked tirelessly to pull off this show in our beautiful new space. If you are looking for something to do this weekend, click on the link in the flier below and come join a performance that’s sure to please your creative side!

March 22nd is the last day of our third quarter. As a quick reminder, I want to let everyone know that your students have about two and a half weeks before the end of this quarter. The grades now determine eligibility for the fourth quarter. This includes all extracurriculars, which also includes the prom on April 20th.

We hope our BHS students have a great weekend and are ready to push through until our spring break at the end of March!

In service to our Bulldogs.

2024-25 FAFSA Update:

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for students entering or attending college for the 2024-25 academic year has undergone many changes, been updated for 2024, and is currently having a "soft launch". The website is up and running, but will be temporarily shut down occasionally for maintenance and updates. Any student that is thinking about attending any type of education/training after high school should complete the FAFSA - technical school, trade school, community college, public university, or private university. The FAFSA is what determines your eligibility for student loans, grants, work-study, and scholarships - thus, it is VERY important that you complete and submit it. Keep in mind, all students are at least eligible for student loans! We will continue to share information and helpful resources as they are received.

  • Here is the link to a short video that explains what the FAFSA is: What is FAFSA?

  • We have also included the link to a slightly lengthier video that explains the entire FAFSA application process and answers many of your questions: The 2024-2025 Financial Aid Process

  • The student, as well as the parents/guardians must have their own FSA ID to begin the FAFSA application process. Here is the link to create your FSA ID: https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch

  • Lastly, here is the link to begin your FAFSA application: StudentAid.Gov
