Albright Viking Spirit Week

Message from the Vice Principal

Please remember that if you have time sensitive information to communicate to your student or their teachers, you need to call the school to communicate it. Students are supposed to have their cellphones turned off for the day, and staff members are not always able to check email during the school day. Thank you for your help in keeping lines of communication open.

The phone number to the office is 630-279-6160.

Winter Concert Invitation

MSI Field Trip Wrap up

This last Wednesday, AMS Vikings went on a field trip to the Museum of Science and Industry. The purpose of the field trip was to experience light and sound waves in action following their recent science units about light and sound. Students were able to enter the Light Room where they could control the light frequencies and therefore change the color of objects within the room. Many students were able to visit the Mirror Maze where they viewed nature in numbers and could see the reflections they've been studying in math. One other popular exhibit was the U505 submarine. Students enjoyed seeing the vessel and learning about the history of warships in WWI and WWII.

Introducing a new way to pay Lunch balances!!

After winter break we are rolling out a new way to pay for lunches and eventually school fee's. You can sign up here https://saltcreek48.revtrak.net/. Or you can go to your parent portal in skyward, click on the food service tile, then in the far right hand top corner click on the "make online payments" button. This new service will streamline the payments so you can set up reoccurring payments and they are connected to skyward so you see the money immediately go to the account. If you have any questions or need help email Mrs. Beckwith, kbeckwith@saltcreek48.org
