📢 Falcon Flight

What an Incredible First Week!

What a week! As we officially kick off the 2026–2027 school year, I want to take a moment to say how incredibly proud I am of our HMS students, staff, and families.

This year is especially exciting as we begin a new inning in our new school building. While a new building brings plenty of changes and adjustments, one thing has remained the same—our Falcon Pride. From the first day, I have seen students learning new routines, making new connections, supporting one another, and embracing what it means to be part of Holloman Middle School.

Our first week has been filled with excitement, energy, and, yes, a few opportunities to learn and adjust! That is exactly what the beginning of a school year should look like. We are building routines, establishing expectations, and creating a culture where every student feels supported, challenged, and ready to SOAR.

I also want to recognize our amazing HMS staff. They have worked tirelessly to prepare classrooms, learn new systems, welcome students, and make this transition into our new building as smooth as possible. Their dedication and commitment to our students are what make HMS such a special place.

As we look ahead, our focus remains simple: student success, strong relationships, high expectations, and a positive school culture. We want every student to know that they belong here, that they are capable of great things, and that their voice matters.

Thank you to our families and community for your continued support. We are excited about what this year will bring and grateful that you are part of the HMS family.

New School. Strong Traditions. Same Falcon Pride

Let’s make it a great year!
