Catoosa Family Connections
Blooming Partnerships: Spring into Parent Involvement!
- Start a family garden: this can be started in an egg crate, a small container, or in your backyard. Planting, maintaining, and finally enjoying the fruits of you labor as a family is a rewarding and educational experience for all ages.
- No time to garden, research spring produce recipes: Look up recipes that use in-season fruits and vegetables. Involve your child in following recipes, measuring ingredients, and the trial and error of working in the kitchen.
- Go on a bug hunt/bird watch: As the world wakes up from winter, take your child on a walk around your neighborhood to look for interesting insects and beautiful birds.
- Spring Cleaning: Encourage your child to find 5 old books to donate to a Little Library.
- Attend Catoosa Reads: Plan to visit the Catoosa County Library on April 24, 2025 from 3pm to 6pm.

Title I Spring Surveys and Parent Advisory Council meetings are excellent opportunities for families to let us know what we are doing right and what we can do to improve our Title I programs. Your feedback directly impacts how our schools implement their Title I funds, policies, and plans.
