August 28, 2026
Kindergarten
Kindergarten was so excited to start the year off with Miss M and Mrs. Glassey. They are off to a great start!
Playground
The playground is all ready, patiently waiting for our students to enjoy themselves. It's going to be a great year!
Grade 8
Grade 8 has it's last first day at Good Shepherd in the books. We are so excited to see what God has in store for these amazing students.
In the event that your child will be absent, late, or dismissed early, please contact the school office (401) 767-5906 by 9am so our office staff can inform your child's teacher of their absence or end of day dismissal changes.
Cellphone Policy
As a reminder for all students, cellphone use during school hours is strictly prohibited. If students need to reach out to parents, they must go to the school office during break time to make the call.
Changes of dismissal should not be make through text message during the day as it becomes a challenge during end of day dismissal.
All cellphones and Apple Watches should be kept in your child's backpack (turned off) during the school day to avoid disruption during class time. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

St. Joseph Catholic Church invites Good Shepherd families to register for our 2026–2027 Religious Education (CCD) program! We welcome children who would like to continue growing in their Catholic faith, as well as students who still need to receive the sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, or Confirmation. First Reconciliation and First Communion preparation is available for children who have not yet received these sacraments, and Confirmation classes are offered for students in grades 7 and 8. We can also work with families whose older children have missed sacraments to help them get caught up. In addition, OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) is available for adults who have not been baptized or have not received all of their sacraments.
And there is much more happening at St. Joseph’s than Sunday classes! Throughout the year, we are planning fun events and activities for both elementary and middle school students, giving kids opportunities to make friends, have fun, serve others, and grow in their faith outside of the classroom. (You do not need to be enrolled in CCD to join us for these events. We would love to see our Good Shepherd families there!)
CCD classes are held Sunday mornings from 9:00–9:50 AM, beginning September 20. We would love to welcome your family and help your children become more involved in our parish community!
